Based in the heart of the Camargue, we are fully aware of the opportunity and responsibility represented by this natural environment, which is as exceptional as it is fragile.
As inhabitants of this wild land, we are committed to preserving it.
Even though our building was not designed according to ecological principles from the outset, we are committed every day to reducing our carbon footprint: waste reduction, selective sorting, short circuits, eco-responsible materials…
These are all concrete actions that we are taking to live in harmony with our territory and limit our impact.
Location and Facilities
Mas de la Fouque is nestled in Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, the capital of the Camargue, in the Bouches-du-Rhône region.
At the gateway to the Gard region, our establishment is ideally located: just 1 hour from Montpellier and Nîmes, 1h30 from Marseille and 3 hours from Lyon.
Access by car is simple and direct via the Départementale 38.
Environment
Embraced by the meandering Rhône, Mas de la Fouque is anchored in the heart of the Camargue – a land where sky, land and sea intertwine to create a masterpiece of nature.
White horses and black bulls create the most striking contrasts in a palette dominated by the pink of the salt flats and flamingos, the green of the pastures and the deep blue of the sea.
Here, man and nature live in harmony. For thousands of years, they have worked together to create a unique landscape and the outlines of some remarkable towns: Aigues-Mortes, Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, Arles…
The Camargue is a land of character, a land proud of its identity. It’s the land of the gardians, who fiercely guard their world and carry on the traditions of their ancestors, day after day.
